Google analytics

This site uses Google analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (www.google.com). Google (Universal) Analytics uses methods that allow analysis of your site usage, such as “Cookies” (text files that are stored on your computer). Information generated during your use of the site is usually transferred to a Google server in the United States and stored there. By anonymizing the IP addresses on this site, the IP address is reduced before transmission within the EU Member States or other parts of the European Economic Area Agreement. Only in exceptional cases, the complete IP address will be transferred to a Google server in the US and will be shortened. The anonymous IP address can not be merged with other Google data.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.).

Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

The collection and use of data when entering into a lease

We collect your personal information when you provide it at the time of a reservation, when you contact us (for example, using the contact form or when sending an email). We use your information to set up contracts and process your reservations. The deletion of your account is possible at any time and can either be requested by e-mail to the contact email address.

Here is the list of the information we collect and the reasons for it’s use:

  • Name and first name
  • Birthday (minimum age for rental insurance)
  • Nationality (rental insurance and customer service management)
  • Address (customer service contact, bank transfer, insurance) – Transmitted to the renter upon validation of the rental. Not visible to the general public
  • Telephone number (contact customer service, contact renter/owner) – Transmitted to the tenant when validating the rental, invisible to the general public
  • Currency (price display, payment and invoice)

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
